  • This goldenrod species prefers full-

    sun, but can tolerate partial shade in soil ranging from dry to medium. Water during dry spells in its first season. Once it establishes, it is tolerant to droughts.

  • Grows upright with an open, bushy form providing vertical interest. When happy, it spreads slowly by rhizomes forming a colony overtime. While it also self seeds, it can be easily thinned and transplanted making it perfect choice for naturalized areas, pollinator gardens, or meadows.

  • Range spans across most of the eastern US where it can be commonly found growing in meadows, upland areas, and along roadsides.
